Christy and Robert were married on Memorial Day weekend. Before I started filming weddings, I spent most of these weekends with my feet in the sand on some North Carolina beach. But over the last few years, I've come to associate May with weddings. Lots of weddings!

So when I arrived at the wedding I quickly noticed that the Groom was a Marine. There are so many young men and women serving our nation that we never get an opportunity to thank them for their commitment. It was nice to have a wedding of an active service member on Memorial Day weekend when we are honoring our armed services.

Danielle & Andrew

So several weeks ago, I filmed the wedding of Danielle & Andrew at Barclay Villa. I was looking forward to it for a couple of reasons. First, they are fellow "Wolfpackers", which is great because it seems like the majority of my clients are UNC or Duke grads (not that I'm complaining!). Also, it was my first time at Barclay Villa. I've often heard it described as the place that is really like a "Castle". Well, it sort of was like a castle I guess, but with modern amenities. I really enjoyed it not only because of the incredible gardens, but also because the staff there was so friendly, professional, and just plain nice to work with. I hope I get to return soon.

Jill & Bill got MARRIED!

Really, they did. And I have video evidence to prove it. Here are a couple of peeks from their wedding DVD. I really love digital video, and I'm a big fan of a Highlights edit. You can take a lot of the same clips, apply a different visual look to them, and use them in a lot of various ways. For instance, when your friends and family come to visit after the wedding and you want to show them your video, rather than making them sit down to a full length screening you can play your highlight video.

Welcome to my Video Blog!

Finally! Seems like its been a long time since I've posted video to the web. Between shooting, editing, and changing web hosting, it's been hard to find the time. Well, I'm turning over a new leaf. A new years resolution on sorts (in July, but better late than never). I hope you enjoy the video!
